  1. It has a nostalgia feeling to me. Really like this one! Would look great hand sewn onto an art quilt! You could embellish it with small pieces of driftwood and shell beads and pearls. Happy creating today! 😄

    1. Oooooh….that’s a great idea! I have actually made quite a few of these (I went a bit nutso the other night and made a whole bunch of these tiny paintings) and I was thinking if I designed them intentionally, I could create a series out of them and plunk them right inside a quilt. Love your embellishment ideas, Jill!

      1. Good idea! I will have to try making some small paintings. One of the reasons I started taking drawing classes was so I could use my own art on these mini art pillows I like to make and embellish with beads. I have got a bit distracted on my art journey. Will have to post them on my blog so you can see them. 😊

      1. Well, I think you are! 😊 I haven´t seen you using watercolor that much until now (just watercolor pencil), so you seem to be a beginner at it (correct me, if I´m wrong). I know how hard watercolor can be in the beginning, how hard to control. And you control it completely already, that´s pretty amazing! 😊

      1. Ah, no, I haven´t! But I have now. Thanks for pointing it out! It really is wonderful, I told you you´re talented at watercolors (real watercolor with brushes)! You should stick to it and develop it, I´m sure you´ll be able to create wonderful paintings (big ones)!!!
