Draw A Bird Day recap, September style!

WordPress grew wings once again on Tuesday, September 8, as a bunch of other artists and I celebrated Draw A Bird Day!  These artists are a joy to know and to follow!   We really have a wonderful art community here at WP.  Here is a link to all of the wonderful bird art we collectively posted that day.

First, I thought it would be cool to welcome and list our new participants first!   *drumroll please*

Rebecca at RebeccaYoungNicholson.wordpress.com

Catherine at Catherine M. Johnson (Catherine, I’m sorry it took me so long to find your site!   Please let me know if I’ve missed any of your bird posts!)

Snehal at Snehal Kank

And now, the rest of the flock:

Lance at Weisser Watercolours, who helped lead the charge in advance (thank you, Lance)

Kirk at Dumb Sketch Daily (who keeps me into this monthly bird celebration with his ongoing encouragement, and helped lead the charge with this incredibly funny post, thank you Kirk!)

Myriam at Myr’s Bites

Sharon at Monday Tuesday Wednesday

Beverly at The Art Prescription

Jill at Jill’s Art Journal

Teresa at One Good Thing

Nina at Method Two Madness

Cynthia at Sand Salt Moon

Kerfe at Method Two Madness

Jodi at Life in Between

Charlie at Doodlewash

Ann at Ann Christina

Nicola at Artistic Adventures

Tequihby at One Stumble at a Time

I’d like to thank all of my talented friends for helping WordPress fly once again this month!   I would also like to thank Kathy at the Backyard Bird Nerd for a wonderful cardinal photo, and M. R. Emberson at A-Wing and A-Way for informing us about the actual Draw A Bird Day, which happens April 8th of each year (which is why we celebrate our bird friends on the eighth of each month)!

Peeps and Peace to all.

  1. Laura, thanks for the recap because I missed a few. And I found some new blogs to follow too. So happy you did this and happy I participated. When’s the next one? Will we have to wait until April 8th? I think a winter one and a summer one would be nice too. Each season!
